Miles J. Murphy III brings nearly four decades of experience representing individuals and families throughout West Michigan.

A lifelong Grand Rapids resident, Miles has built a reputation as a practical, dedicated advocate who helps clients navigate difficult legal challenges with confidence and clarity.

Miles' practice includes family law, litigation, veterans' benefits, personal injury, insurance disputes, criminal matters, driver's license restoration, and other civil litigation matters. He has extensive courtroom experience, having represented clients in bench and jury trials across Michigan for many years.

Miles has practiced law in West Michigan since 1986 and is admitted to practice before Michigan state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Throughout his career, Miles has remained active in the legal community through pro bono service, bar association involvement, and volunteer efforts in West Michigan. He has participated in the Kent County Case Evaluator Program and has been active with organizations supporting veterans and Social Security claimants.

Outside the office, Miles enjoys spending time with his wife, Cindy, and their four children. He remains active in his church and has dedicated time throughout his career to volunteer, pro bono, and community service activities. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, coaching youth athletics, running, basketball, and golf.
